I will Be Your Lifeguard!
I heard the Lord say I will be your lifeguard. Indeed, this is the time when many need to learn how to swim above the waters of life. Many people are either treading, floating, or sinking right now. Some are even swimming underwater, but I desire you to learn to swim above the water. As you swim above the water, you will see what is going on above and beneath. Yes, I need you in two places at one time.
I need you to be able to be alert and aware of the things that are trying to suffocate you and immobilize you. I need you to be mindful of the things that cause fear and overwhelm to attempt to overtake you. I will be your lifeguard. I will tell you when to hold your breath. I will tell you when to release it. I will tell you when to paddle your arms. I will tell you when to kick your legs. I will tell you which way to turn your head, whether right or left. I will be your lifeguard.
All of this is necessary because life can be like an ocean. Sometimes it's calm, and at other times it can have raging storms. I want you to know that I am with you right by your side. I desire that you know and understand that I will be your lifeguard in the ocean of your life. Says the Spirit of the LORD.
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.........." - Isa 43:2
