HEY THERE
One of the spirits running rampant in the land and even in the "christendom" is the spirit of deception.
It tends to be present around witchcraft and manipulation and is an enemy to authentic prophetic ministry.

John 8:44 NIV
44 You belong to your father, the devil,(A) and you want to carry out your father’s desires.(B) He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.(C)
THE SPIRIT OF DECEPTION
When the Spirit of Deception Is at work, it manifests or is evident in those who always seem to operate in a veil of secrecy, even in small things.
It’s almost as if they’ve taken a vow of secrecy and their number one goal is to hide the truth.
- Truth is hidden via:
- Not telling the truth
- Keeping the truth
- Bending the truth
- Blurring the truth
And yes even Blaspheming the truth
It’s a STRONGHOLD that is often partnered with the SPIRIT OF PRIDE. (Leviathan )
The spirit of Pride Is what keeps those who are operating in deception, deceived or clueless to the fact that their DECEPTION is spilling over in obvious ways that they can’t seem to recognize.
Again it’s real obvious in the small things- situations that make you Leary and Weary regarding their seemingly NEED to lie or cover up the truth.
When the Spirit of Deception is present it also manifests in unclear statements or sentences that just don’t make sense at all.
You may walk away from a conversation saying you’re now confused. That confusion is one of the results of the deception.
When this happens you have to remind yourself of the word: 1. JESUS CHRIST IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION and 2. Satan is the FATHER OF LIES.
Those with a spirit of deception don’t mind even telling “small lies” to manipulate situations and people in their favor.
When Deception is at hand the number one solution and counter-attack is to release the spirit of TRUTH.
Yes, the stronghold of deception can multiply quickly because most operating swear they are people of integrity. Thus, you (others) don’t SUSPECT they would lie.
However eventually after you examine the evidence, you begin to realize that DECEPTION is at hand.
Finally, yes the TRUTH will outlive a lie any day! Unfortunately due to the STRONGHOLD of DECEPTION and not enough understanding, it generally takes the TRUTH longer to manifest because of the WEB OF LIES, that have been sewn.
42-47 “If God were your father,” said Jesus, “you would love me, for I came from God and arrived here. I didn’t come on my own. He sent me. Why can’t you understand one word I say? Here’s why: You can’t handle it. You’re from your father, the Devil, and all you want to do is please him. He was a killer from the very start. He couldn’t stand the truth because there wasn’t a shred of truth in him. When the Liar speaks, he makes it up out of his lying nature
and fills the world with lies. I arrive on the scene, tell you the plain truth, and you refuse to have a thing to do with me. Can any one of you convict me of a single misleading word, a single sinful act? But if I’m telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? Anyone on God’s side listens to God’s words. This is why you’re not listening—because you’re not on God’s side.”
