On a basic level most in today’s society understand covenant to be a special relationship and alliance between individuals that’s meant to last a life-time. Of course the most popular one we seem to always reference is the one between a husband and a wife. Yet, no matter how many husbands and wives declare before friends, family and their God that they will not break covenant it happens more than many like to acknowledge.

Unfortunately, the breaking of marriage covenant happens with those who proclaim to be connected in faith, just as much as with those who don’t proclaim to be actively engaged in a religious relationship with a deity they believe controls their destiny.

Just as the breaking of marriage covenants seems to be at an all-time high within Christendom, truth is the breaking of covenant relationships in general seems to be nothing more than an “after-thought” to those who initiate “the breaking”

As a 5-fold ministry leader I’m not afraid to admit, this is where I seemed to get attacked the most - and where I’m determined to break that cycle head on.

Thus being willing to critically think, review and agree to move forward in healing and wholeness, by any means necessary.
